As stressful as posting a social media post can get --- considering that you have to get the post up at most three days after the event ---, it's also so fun to cover and report on. Its where my photography skills get to shine. I consider myself a decent photographer. And what I mean by that is the occasional good photo I have in my phone and the good ones on my professional camera. My first ever social media that impacted my time in El Estoque was when I covered the Homecoming Rally. We had to get out of class early and we had to get the social media post and the online story up by the end of the day. In a nutshell, I was editing and writing and sending messages in Slack for the entire day.

But after I managed to get my social media post up and the article up on the website, the amount of relief and pride I felt made me feel so good about myself. And I hope that with every social media post I make I can continue to develop my photography skills.
